Drivers’ Guide to Willow Springs
Since our next event is at Willow Springs International Raceway, which is repaving the big track, we thought some of the newer drivers would appreciate advice about driving at this track.
When we asked our series leaders and instructors, “What advice would you give drivers about driving the Willow Springs race track?”, they had two suggestions:
- Plan to walk the track on Friday or Saturday night. It’s a wonderful time to learn the nuances of every track you visit.
- Watch this video. Recorded by Jack Olsen about 11 years ago, it’s withstood the test of time and it remains one of the best turn-by-turn guides for this famous track.
